Number 16 Enthusiasm.
Greetings again to all!
Here we are in April the fourth month of this year and again we meet for your Monthly IChing Reading.
I am Angelica Danton and I wish you a happy abundant and protected (Spring in the Northern Hemisphere and Fall in the Southern) Season and upcoming Ostara or Easter Holiday Period.
This month we are called to consider the power of “Enthusiasm” Hexagram numbered 16.
Firstly of course it is important always to be practical. The sign of Taurus which governs the practical earthly realm is all about being sure to remain grounded.
After all we live on the earthly plane and must make our living on it while we are here in the best way we can.
However without joy in the life we live or without enthusiasm for our plans and dreams our world would be grey indeed!
The sign of Aries encourages bold Enterprise and forward thinking. All the signs are part of our charts (as we have all have the 12 signs over each of our 12 houses as well as our Ruling planet which is for our specific sign).
Hexagram 16 is symbolically the Thunder over Earth alerting us to the need within ourselves to feel enthusiasm for the most important things we choose to value in life. This month look to that which has always given you the most lasting or enduring happiness not at that which is in the end just a passing whim.
Write up in your journal where you have had the best times in your life and as you recall those times consider how infectious enthusiasm is. Celebrate your own passions and empathize with the aspirations of those close to you as well.
If life has been too full of distractions and “things you have to do” decide to give yourself a “staycation” where you devote a day to just doing something you love. You deserve it.
Easter or Ostara is just around the Corner so if you get some time off this is a perfect time to plan your day.
Meanwhile doing some listening up to those around you,do some of them need some encouragement or enthusiasm right now? You can be of great value to them by offering sage advice or giving support in whatever way you can. Even the most practical basic help or tip can help move a project along this month!
You can support the efforts of those you admire, they will truly appreciate this added value to their quests.
